Recovery Head

The Recovery Head is responsible for managing the teams handling collections, repossessions and filing of legal cases for secured and unsecured written-off accounts (cards & loans).
The purpose of this role is to provide leadership and ensure the supervised teams are aligned and operating efficiently to meet performance standards and set targets and ensure alignment with the Collections Department Head's strategies such as but not limited to Cash, Non-cash recoveries and repossession.
How you'll contribute
- Application and Implementation of strategies, programs, processes, action plans in line with respective goals of the business units determined and approved by the Collections Department Head and ensure the successful execution by supervising the teams within the unit.
- Coordinate with ACA Team Managers, IR and Legal Lead to ensure that the Recovery Management unit's collections strategy is being executed according to design, and the information flow between teams is efficient and followed by all teams through clear and effective communication.
- Monitor and update established KPIs of supervised teams regularly, to enhance team's performance and ensure each team's target recovery rates are met.
- Perform process checks of supervised teams (ACA, IR & Legal processes, defined) to identify inefficiencies and performance deterioration and develop tactics to address these items.
- Identify loan modification options to liquidation for borrowers with delinquent and high-risk loans, to offer default/payment arrangement alternatives and minimize losses.
- Monitor and reach the yearly and monthly KPIs (Average KRA of Agency, Recovery amount, % of subordinates reaching XX points on QA grade).
- Provide accurate and timely processing of invoices and ensure that agency payout is completed (end-to-end) based on established invoice TAT and procedures.
- Request regular updating and communication from Team Managers regarding trends and performance to be able to make informed decisions regarding strategy.
What we're looking for
- Knowledge of bank's products and processes, BSP Circulars related to collections particularly Circular 857- Consumer Protection Framework and industry practice in Complaints Management.
- Well verse with various collection processes
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail
