  • Preventive maintenance: Perform regular service on generators, including oil changes, filter replacements, coolant checks, and battery testing.
  • Troubleshooting and repair: Diagnose and fix both mechanical problems (engine, fuel, exhaust) and electrical issues (control panels, wiring, alternators).
  • Testing and inspection: Conduct load bank testing and inspections to ensure the generator is operating efficiently and meets performance standards.
  • Installation: Install new generators and related equipment, making sure all connections and systems are correctly fitted and functional.
  • Emergency response: Provide on-call support for emergency repairs and power outages to minimize downtime.
  • Record-keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Safety compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, electrical codes, and standards when working with mechanical systems and hazardous materials.

Required skills and qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training in electrical or mechanical systems often preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • CAN DRIVE 4 WHEELS IS A PLUS
  • Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers and other technicians.
  • WILLING TO ASSIGN IN METRO MANILA OR ANY OTHER LOCATIONS
