Job Overview

The BIM Modeler is a key member of the production team responsible for generating the majority of project drawings. This role works closely with the BIM Job Captains and BIM Manager to produce highly detailed and accurate drawings that meet project standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of BIM Job Captains and the BIM Manager.
  • Revise models based on review feedback, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Adhere to the BIM Execution Plan and project-specific BIM workflow criteria.
  • Produce accurate construction documents derived from BIM models.
  • Create custom parametric families according to project requirements and specifications.
  • Review and address minor BIM clashes in the MEPF hierarchy; assist the Job Captain in delivering formal reports on major clashes and design issues.
  • Support the Job Captain in implementing correct shared coordinates across all projects.
  • Assist the Job Captain in monitoring scheduled submissions, task delegations, and overall team progress.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Architecture or any Engineering course.
  • PRC license is an advantage but not required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in BIM, with at least 5 years total experience using Revit.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM-related software.
  • Competent in reading and interpreting plans from at least three AEC disciplines.
