Importation Specialist

The Importation Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of import documentation, data entry, inventory reporting, and insurance claim handling. The position supports the operational efficiency and integrity of the importation process for Completely Built Units (CBUs) and spare parts.

About the opportunity

System Encoding and Data Management

  • Uploads and maintains accurate CBU and spare parts shipment data in the system.
  • Ensures timely encoding of all inventory-related entries in the system, supporting inventory control and financial tracking.
  • Maintains organized digital records of all transactions and uploads for audit and reference purposes.

Courier Service Coordination

  • Manage all the company's courier services requirements of the company, both for domestic and international shipments.
  • Liaise with courier service providers to ensure efficient, secure, and timely delivery of documents and small items.

Marine Insurance Claim Handling

  • Facilitates the documentation and filing of marine insurance claims for damaged CBUs and parts.
  • Coordinates with the insurance provider to follow up on claim status and ensure timely reimbursement.
  • Prepares and submits requests for spare parts required to complete or repair damaged units related to insurance claims.

Qualifications

  • Must be a licensed customs broker
  • With at least 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience in using the Oracle NetSuite system is a huge advantage
  • Willing to work on-site along Ayala Avenue, Makati City
