Role Overview

Ensure accurate, complete, and compliant accounting for assigned Labrador Group entities, meeting monthly closing deadlines and adhering to Group and local standards. Maintain data integrity in NetSuite and ensure smooth coordination between the Shared Service Center (SSC) and the France headquarters.

**Key Responsibilities

**General Accounting

  • Record and review accounting entries (purchases, sales, banks, intercompany, accruals, etc.).
  • Maintain updated trial balances and ledgers.
  • Monitor fixed assets and depreciation.
  • Ensure proper analytical coding (class, department, activity).
  • Support monthly and quarterly closings.

**Reconciliations and Reviews

  • Perform and document bank and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Investigate variances and ensure balance sheet accuracy.
  • Keep intercompany reciprocity sheets updated.

**Audit and Reporting Support

  • Prepare closing files and supporting documents.
  • Provide audit requirements and assist in internal/external reviews.
  • Contribute to monthly financial reports.

**Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work with AP, AR, and Banking teams.
  • Coordinate with headquarters for validation and support.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement.

**Role Expansion and Initiatives

  • Take full ownership of accounting scope.
  • Act as a key contact for intercompany, fixed assets, or reconciliations.
  • Help document and improve SSC procedures.
  • Support automation and system enhancement initiatives.
  • Assist in training new SSC members and participate in Group projects.

**Skills and Profile

**Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

**Work Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in general and intercompany accounting, ideally in a shared service or multinational setup.
  • Hands-on experience in monthly/quarterly closings, reconciliations, and audit preparation.
  • Familiarity with IFRS and PFRS standards.
  • Experience working with international teams is an advantage.

**Technical Skills

  • Proficient in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards (IFRS/PFRS).

  • Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
