The Barista at Café Amazon is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and food items in a fast-paced environment. The role involves maintaining the café's cleanliness and ambiance while ensuring an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Beverage Preparation:
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, according to Café Amazon's standards and recipes.
• Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment.
• Customer Service:
• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting menu items.
• Address customer inquiries, requests, or complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Cashiering and Transactions:
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Process orders promptly and provide correct change or receipts.
• Inventory and Stocking:
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee, supplies, and other items; restock as needed.
• Report shortages or damaged goods to the supervisor.
• Cleanliness and Maintenance:
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the counter, seating area, and equipment.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
• Teamwork:
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.
• Assist in training new staff as needed.
• Promotions and Upselling:
• Inform customers about ongoing promotions, new menu items, or loyalty programs.
• Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
