Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Hatchery Technician to assist in the daily operations of our crab hatchery. The role involves supporting broodstock management, larval and nursery rearing, water quality monitoring, and ensuring the health and survival of hatchery stocks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in broodstock handling, spawning, and larval rearing activities.
  • Monitor water quality, feeding, and daily survival rates.
  • Prepare and maintain tanks, equipment, and hatchery facilities.
  • Record daily observations and assist in data collection.
  • Follow biosecurity and safety protocols.
  • Support hatchery manager in implementing production plans.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of Fisheries, Aquaculture, Marine Biology, or related course (or with relevant experience).
  • Preferably with 1–2 years of hatchery/aquaculture experience, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Knowledge in water quality testing and basic aquaculture techniques.
  • Physically fit, willing to work in shifting schedules and coastal/rural settings.
  • Team player, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
