Role Overview:

We're looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team
In this role, you'll manage projects from start to finish, creating highly engaging video edits and eye-catching thumbnails. You'll craft compelling storylines, design attention-grabbing hooks, and produce breakout clips tailored for social media, all while collaborating closely with client feedback. You'll also play a key role in editing internal content — from Instagram Reels to YouTube Reviews — helping us tell our brand story and build stronger connections with our audiences.

Key Responsibilities


• Edit and assemble recorded footage into finished projects ready for distribution.

• Create short-form content (e.g., reels, Shorts) and long-form content (e.g., YouTube videos, interviews).

• Craft sleek videos by adding music, dialogue, graphics, and sound effects etc

• Create compelling thumbnails

• Work closely with the director to align content with brand goals.

• Manage and organise digital video assets.

• Ensure all edits meet brand guidelines and deadlines.

• Help with monitoring internal video creation for YouTube and social media

Skills & Experience Required Essential:


• 1 years of professional video editing experience

• Experienced in Final Cut Pro X Software

• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (Canvas or alternative)

• Proficiency with using stock footage, music and sound effects

• Knowledge of colour grading

• YouTube SEO, uploading and thumbnail creation

• Strong storytelling skills through video editing

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Good understanding of social media video editing trends

Skills & Experience Desirable:


• Experience with motion graphics and animation, Sound Design

• Experience shooting video (Sony camera operation, audio & lighting)

• Customer/client interactions

• Work hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm UK hours

Trello for Task Tracking

• All video edits and upcoming projects are managed through Trello.

• Each task includes a clear deadline and any reference materials needed.

• You are responsible for updating the progress of your tasks and ensuring completion on time.

4. Accountability & Expectations


• Your performance is evaluated based on the quality and timeliness of your work.

• You are expected to meet deadlines, communicate availability, and collaborate effectively with the team.

• Regular check-ins or reviews may be scheduled to ensure alignment on priorities and workload.

5. Policy Compliance


• Failure to meet deadlines may result in a formal review.
