That's why we say, "When our customers prosper, we all win."J ob Description:As a Software Engineer at DTN, you will be part of our Weather Sector development team in creating new APIs and widgets to support our go to weather product in the offshore segment.

You will be part of the team that will keep the lights on for our existing portfolio of weather platforms used by our existing customers. What you will be responsible for:Analyzes, designs, develops, and tests complex software applications and related programs and procedures used in local and/or cloud-based applications to ensure they meet design requirements in accordance with existing architecture & IT standards

Applies deep knowledge and experience in current programming language and technologies to write code used in internal, commercial or end-user applications, and perform testing and debugging of applications

Interacts with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements using defined practices and policies

Participates and/or leads quality improvement processes like code reviews and provides constructive feedback

Completes documentation and procedures for deployment and operational support

What you will bring to the role:2-3 years as a Fullstack developer with strong Typescript skills

Experienced in , , and API development

Familiarity with AI tools like LLMs (e.g., Anthropic) is a plus

Knowledge of .NET or Java for maintaining legacy products is advantageous

Proficient in and web technologies

Skilled in AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)Experienced in designing CI/CD pipelines

Strong understanding of software architecture, OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns

DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to : prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
