Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain detailed financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and prepared on time
  • Perform various accounting tasks such as processing invoices, tracking expenses, and managing petty cash
  • Provide support to the Finance team, collaborating on projects and special initiatives as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting procedures and controls

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar Accounting Specialist role, preferably within the food or manufacturing industry
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
