About the role

We are seeking a talented Cloud and App Security Consultant to join our growing team at Michael Page International Recruitment Philippines Inc. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and solutions to our clients on securing their cloud infrastructure and business-critical applications. Based in the vibrant city of Makati, Metro Manila, this position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge security projects and make a real impact on our clients' operations. Hybrid work setup with 2-day onsite and 3 days WFH in Mid Shift Schedule.

What you'll be doing

  • Assess and analyse clients' cloud and application security needs, offering tailored solutions and strategies

  • Design, implement and maintain secure cloud and application architectures

  • Conduct security audits, risk assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities

  • Provide expert advice and support to clients on cloud and application security best practices

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies and regulations within the industry

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures

  • Deliver comprehensive security training and awareness programmes to client stakeholders

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud and application security consulting or a similar role

  • Proven track record of implementing successful security solutions for cloud-based and web-based applications

  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g. ISO, NIST, GDPR)

  • Proficiency in cloud security technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and container security

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and solve complex security challenges

  • Certifications in relevant security domains (e.g. CISSP, GIAC, CEH) are highly desirable
