Pharmacist

This role is for Xpress Path Inc., the distributor and Ecommerce enabler of UNILAB and UL Skin Sciences based in Binan, Laguna.

Job Summary:

Xpress Path, Inc. is seeking a licensed and detail-oriented Pharmacist to oversee and manage the handling, distribution, and quality assurance of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products for an Ecommerce distributor and enabling company. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, maintain inventory accuracy, storage, QA, and support the safe and effective delivery of medications across the operations facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, and manage pharmaceutical and cosmetic products in compliance with regulatory and organizational guidelines.

• Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, ensuring correct dosages, interactions, and usage.

• Prepare, label, and dispense medications accurately to patients or healthcare providers.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Demand Planner and Inventory Associate to maintain adequate stock of essential pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and other products.

• Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature and humidity) are maintained for all drugs.

• Maintain detailed records of drug movements, batch numbers, and expiration dates.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide drug information and patient counseling.

• Report and document adverse drug reactions and product quality complaints as per pharmacovigilance protocols.

• Participate in internal audits, quality assurance checks, and regulatory inspections.

• Stay updated on changes in pharmaceutical laws, product recalls, and new drug launches.

• Record keeping and updating of FDA required documents such as Senior Citizen Logbook and Prescription Logbook.

• Collaboration with Customer Service for customer concerns and handling.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy

• Valid Pharmacist License in the Philippines.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical logistics, or product management.

• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations (FDA, GDP and GWP).

• Proficient in inventory management systems and pharmacy software.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in product recalls, near-expiry management and FDA-compliant drug disposal

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cold chain management.

• Knowledge of controlled substances handling.

• Training in pharmacovigilance and quality assurance.

• Experience in retail or community pharmacy.

Work Environment:

• May require working in warehouses and cleanroom environments.

• May involve handling hazardous or high-value pharmaceutical products.

• Occasional lifting of containers, prolonged standing, and use of PPE may be necessary.
