Job Title:
SEASONAL STOCKER/CASHIER
Common Workplaces:
Grocery stores (e.g., Walmart, Safeway)
Warehouses (e.g., Amazon fulfillment centers)
Job Responsibilities:
Unload shipments and deliveries
Organize and stock products on shelves or storage areas
Rotate stock (first-in, first-out method)
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Check for damaged or expired products
Assist customers with locating items (optional, depending on the store)
Label shelves and update price tags
Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if trained), or other equipment
Work Hours:
Early mornings, evenings, or overnight shifts
Full-time or part-time
Often includes weekends and holidays
Skills & Qualifications:
No formal education required (High school diploma preferred)
Ability to lift heavy items (30–50+ lbs regularly)
Attention to detail and basic organizational skills
Basic math skills
Ability to stand, bend, and walk for long periods
Teamwork and communication skills
Reliability and punctuality
