Licensed Neuropsychologist

Our Client is in need of 3-4 neuropsychological evaluations per week. You may be required to use a psychometrist for some cases. Part of our care model is to ensure patients get the support they need to manage neurological conditions, so occasional consultation may be part of the care plan. We are known for providing thorough evaluations with detailed recommendations. Patient population is adult only and mostly focused on aging-related disorders, although we do evaluate younger adults as well. Diagnostic categories vary considerably and most often include MCI and dementia, TBI/stroke, and Parkinson's disease. Positions are fee-for-service. There are opportunities to collaborate with the speech language pathologist and licensed clinical social workers on cases. There are opportunities for psychotherapy and cognitive rehabilitation if interested, but it is not required.

• iPads are provided with a q-interactive account for select measures. All testing materials are provided.
• Case consultation available with a board certified clinical neuropsychologist.
• Will be required to conduct deep brain stimulation (DBS) presurgical evaluations.
• Administrative and billing support provided via the practice manager and medical billing company.
• Electronic Health Record provides tech-related assistance for report writing (e.g., AI assisted notes, other report-assist technology).
• Must demonstrate cultural competency. The practice sees a diverse population. There are opportunities for bilingual evaluations.

Qualifications:

• PsyD or PhD in Clinical Psychology or related field
• 2 year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology or rehabilitation neuropsychology
• NJ license or license eligible
