Role Purpose

The Supply Chain Head leads end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure consistent product availability, food safety compliance, cost efficiency, and service excellence across all restaurant locations. This role is critical in supporting store operations, margin protection, and scalable growth through disciplined planning, execution, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the supply chain strategy aligned with business growth, menu expansion, and profitability targets.
  • Lead and coach supply chain, procurement, logistics, and inventory teams to deliver best-in-class operational performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, service level improvement, and waste minimization.

Planning, Procurement & Inventory Management

  • Oversee demand planning, procurement, and inventory management for food, packaging, and non-food items.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels across commissaries, warehouses, and restaurant outlets to support freshness, rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and cost efficiency.
  • Manage supplier performance, pricing, lead times, and quality standards to ensure uninterrupted supply.

Commissary, Warehouse & Logistics Coordination

  • Work closely with Operations, Commissary, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to plan production, storage, and intercompany transfers.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective distribution to restaurants while maintaining cold chain integrity and food safety standards.
  • Monitor third-party warehouses and logistics providers to ensure SLA and KPI compliance.

Cost, Margin & Risk Management

  • Control food cost, logistics cost, and inventory losses through disciplined forecasting, controls, and variance analysis.
  • Identify supply risks (price volatility, shortages, disruptions) and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Support menu costing, promotions, and new store openings with accurate supply and cost assumptions.

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Establish, track, and report supply chain KPIs including service level, inventory turns, food cost %, wastage, shrinkage, and logistics efficiency.
  • Present regular performance reports to the Operations Management Team with insights, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Use data and analytics to drive fact-based decision-making and operational improvements.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, and company standards across the supply chain.
  • Strengthen controls, documentation, and audit readiness across procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
