Position Overview

The Mechatronics Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated systems, robotics, electrical circuits, mechanical equipment, and control systems. This role ensures the smooth operation of production machinery and supports continuous improvement initiatives in line with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and automated machinery.
  • Diagnose faults in electrical circuits, mechanical systems, PLCs, sensors, and actuators.
  • Assist in the design, assembly, and testing of mechatronic systems and prototypes.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Calibrate and test instrumentation, control systems, and automation equipment.
  • Document maintenance activities, equipment modifications, and spare part usage.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company standards.
  • Provide technical support during equipment installation, commissioning, and upgrades.
