JOB DESCRIPTION

Barsan is expanding, and we are seeking talented professionals to join our growing team. As part of a global brand, you will have access to excellent career development opportunities. We are currently looking for new colleagues for our Pricing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pricing activities for the Philippines ocean/air export-import market.
  • Prepare pricing and quotations for inquiries from the Sales Team, overseas Barsan offices, and customers.
  • Enhance our pricing capacity within the Philippines ocean freight market.
  • Strengthen relationships with current suppliers and partners.
  • Establish new relationships with potential suppliers (carriers, NVOCCs, freight forwarders) through calls and outreach.
  • Organize and attend meetings and events with suppliers.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team and prepare weekly reports on pricing activities.
  • Monitor trends in the Ocean Freight market in the Philippines and take necessary actions accordingly.
  • Respond to internal requests and follow up on new inquiries.
  • Organize and attend vendor visits and events.
  • Prepare weekly reports on pricing activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with Sales, Accounting, and Operations teams.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English.
  • A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in International Business is preferred.
  • A strong sense of urgency with a detail-oriented focus and analytical thinking.
  • A good understanding of the freight forwarding market in the Philippines.
  • Minimum of 2 years of pricing experience in the logistics field is required.
  • Ability to assess market prices effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive and friendly attitude with a sense of responsibility.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Open to teamwork with creative and innovative skills.
