Job Summary:

Supervises OMLF's compliance to taxation laws and regulations. Assists OMLF Group in all tax-related concerns.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting:
  • Prepares the tax related disclosures and supplementary reports in the Audited Financial Statements (AFS).

Tax Management:

  • Monitors prompt and accurate tax remittances and submission of requirements/reports to BIR.
  • Reviews and checks if correct withholding taxes are deducted by clients from their payment to OMLF.
  • Computes the monthly current and deferred income tax provisions.
  • Prepares the quarterly and annual income tax remittances.
  • Takes charge of securing annual BIR registration of books of accounts and BIR Non-VAT registration of Head Office and all branches.
  • Assists Tax Compliance Department Head in complying with the requirements of BIR examinations and tax assessments such as (but not limited to) reconciliations, replies to assessments, confirmations and submission of documents.
  • Liaises with the BIR and other government agencies on tax matters.
  • Performs tax research updates and advisory for AD to GAD and FAMD.
  • Proposes tax minimizations measures and/or tax planning for the group.

Others:

  • Replies to tax related inquiries from internal and external clients.
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy.
  • Has strong background in Philippine Tax Law.
  • Minimum of years of tax experience in a large company or at least tax supervisor in auditing firm. CPA is a plus
  • Experience in dealing with BIR Audit.
  • Expertise in managing tax compliance, developing tax strategies, and building relationship with external advisers
  • Willing to report daily in Makati Office.
