About the role
We are seeking an experienced Backhoe Operator to join our construction team at Giovanni Construction. This full-time position is based in Agusan del Sur Caraga and will play a vital role in the execution of our construction projects.
What you'll be doing
- Operate backhoe machinery safely and efficiently to excavate, load, and move materials on construction sites
- Perform routine maintenance and inspection of the backhoe to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with the construction crew to coordinate the movement of materials and equipment
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on the job site
- Document work activities and maintain detailed logs of equipment usage
- Provide feedback and recommendations for improving operational procedures
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Backhoe Operator in the construction industry
- Proficient in the operation and maintenance of backhoe equipment
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and certification for operating heavy equipment
