Procurement Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of procurement professionals handling non-automotive (indirect) purchasing.
• Develop sourcing strategies for indirect categories such as MRO (maintenance, repair, operations), IT, office supplies, tools, PPE, facility services, logistics, and professional services.
• Conduct supplier evaluation, selection, and relationship management to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to optimize cost savings and value-added services.
• Monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Maintenance, Facilities, IT, HR, Finance) to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods/services.
• Implement and enforce procurement policies and ensure adherence to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze market trends, benchmark pricing, and stay updated on industry developments affecting supply and pricing.
• Manage procurement records, reporting, and KPIs to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and budgeting processes related to indirect procurement.
• Ensure ethical procurement practices and compliance with corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in indirect procurement categories is highly desirable.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to work cross-functionally.
• Leadership experience with a proven ability to manage and develop teams.
