JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Pizzaiolo to join our culinary team at Francesco's. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing authentic, Napoli-style pizzas using traditional methods. You will be responsible for preparing dough, assembling pizzas with precision, cooking them in our brick oven, and ensuring consistent quality in every order.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and handle pizza dough (mixing, kneading, proofing, and stretching).
  • Cook pizzas in a brick oven, ensuring consistency, texture, and flavor.
  • Prepare and manage toppings, sauces, and other pizza components.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the pizza station.
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and assist with ordering/replenishment.
  • Follow established recipes and presentation standards while contributing creative ideas for new pizza specials.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a pizzaiolo, preferably in a Napoli-style or Italian restaurant.
  • Strong understanding of pizza dough fermentation and brick-oven cooking techniques.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
