Position: Claims Assistant

Location: Cyberscape Beta, Ortigas, Pasig

Work setup & shift: Onsite setup | Day shift

  • Review of documentation submitted for various administered projects.
  • Recognize discrepancies or lack of information within claim documentation and take appropriate action.
  • Maintain acceptable levels of productivity and accuracy.
  • Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, mailing, and scanning,
  • Reviews claim to ensure accuracy and compliance with processing standards
  • Uses proprietary software tools to access and review claimant documents, enter claim decisions, and create escalations when needed
  • Ensures clear, concise, evidence-based rationales have been provided in support of all recommendations and/or determinations.
  • Ensures that all written instructions and specifications have been followed and that all questions have been addressed.
  • Communicates immediately to supervise all obstacles of items out of the norm to completing work
  • Data entry and verification
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Your Role:

As a
Claims Assistant
, you will:

  • Call insurance companies and chase responses
  • Call insurance to request reports
  • Call insurance on behalf of claims manager and wait on hold
  • Call insurance to make various follow ups
  • Email insurance companies chasing follow ups

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

  • Must have over 2 years of experience working in the insurance industry
  • Applicants with CSR experience are open to apply
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Insurance background would be highly regarded
