What You'll Do

As a Junior Multimedia Artist, you are responsible for creating visual concepts and designs to communicate ideas effectively, using software or by hand, for various mediums like print, web, and social media, ensuring designs are visually appealing and align with brand guidelines. You are also in charge of ensuring an updated database of raw assets in photo and video formats.

• Conceptualization and Design

  • Develop creative concepts and designs for various projects, including logos, layouts, illustrations, and other visual assets.

• Software Proficiency

  • Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other relevant tools.

• Photography and Documentation

  • In charge of ensuring that events and other student/faculty activities are covered and always updated.

• Communication

  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and provide design solutions.

• Visual Communication

  • Translate ideas into compelling visuals that effectively communicate messages and enhance brand identity.

• Layout and Production

  • Create layouts for various applications, including advertisements, brochures, magazines, websites, and social media content.

• Attention to Detail

  • Ensure designs are visually appealing, well-organized, and adhere to brand guidelines and design principles.

• Adaptability

  • Be able to adapt designs based on feedback and iterate on designs to meet client needs.

• Time Management

  • Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively.

• Problem Solving

  • Identify and resolve design-related issues and challenges.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Arts or a related field

• Preferably with 1–2 years of professional experience in an industry that places a strong emphasis on creative and branding methodologies

• Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Firefly, and other relevant tools

• Familiar and comfortable with using Midjourney for design generation

• Advanced proficiency in Canva

• Capable of producing a wide range of materials, including print, static, and motion graphics

• A strong passion for design, aesthetics, and the fine arts is considered an advantage

• A keen interest in photography and videography is highly desirable
