Job Summary: The Marketing Operations Officer (Import & Export) supports the growth and operational efficiency of the company's freight forwarding business. This role bridges marketing strategy and logistics operations, focusing on generating leads, maintaining client relationships, and coordinating import/export activities to ensure smooth end-to-end service delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote import/export freight forwarding services.
  • Generate leads and convert them into active clients through effective communication and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and international agents.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (operations, documentation, customs brokerage) to ensure efficient handling of shipments.
  • Monitor the execution of import/export shipments in line with customer requirements and regulatory standards
  • Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents to track shipments and ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in marketing or airfreight operations within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of import/export procedures and documentation.
  • Computer-literate. Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
