You will play a crucial role in shaping our company culture and ensuring that our team members feel valued and heard. This role offers a unique chance to work closely with various departments, assisting with conflict resolution, enhancing employee engagement initiatives, and promoting a workplace where everyone can thrive. You will help facilitate communication between staff and management, handle employee inquiries, and support training programs that cultivate professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Exposure to government agencies, particularly in the energy sector, as well as knowledge with respect to regulatory and compliance procedures before the SEC, BIR, DOLE, and other regulatory bodies, court filings, contracts, and case documentation.
  • Assist in managing employee relations issues and inquiries
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities
  • Conduct employee surveys and analyze feedback to enhance workplace culture
  • Help resolve workplace conflicts through active communication and mediation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist in HR reporting
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs and support professional development programs
  • Perform administrative duties such as monitoring incoming and outgoing legal-related letters, tracking regulatory and other deadlines, maintaining logs, and organizing legal files, in coordination with other relevant offices departments.
  • Facilitate timely completion of compliance matters by coordinating with relevant internal teams for submissions.
  • Assist in the drafting of simple letters, correspondences, and other basic communications and the preparation of the documents attached thereto.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of statutory documents with regulatory authorities.
  • Liaise with other offices, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders, as may be necessary.
  • Conduct legal research and gather other relevant information to support corporate governance and other legal-related matters.
  • Assist the Head of Legal & Compliance in managing regulatory and other compliance audits concerning corporate governance and other legal matters.
  • Assist the Corporate Secretary in coordinating all corporate housekeeping activities and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, rules and regulations related to corporate housekeeping.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Superior as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Political Science or related field
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software
  • A positive attitude and a passion for supporting employees
