A. JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and with a diverse population, including staff, physicians, clients, patients, HMO companies and other members of the public on a regular basis
B. STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs nursing duties with clinical care team.
2. Assist physician in examination and treatment procedures.
3. Prepares and assists patients for examination by escorting them from the waiting area to the exam room and taking vital signs.
4. Reviewing and updating patient records prior to appointment.
5. Prepares, cleans and maintains consultation and treatment rooms.
6. Provides other patient care services as directed by physicians.
7. Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
8. Administer medication upon physician order.
9. Prepares and maintains clinical supplies and equipment.
10. Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
11. Treats staff, physicians, visitors and patients with dignity and respect.
12. Perform other functions as may be designated by the hospital administration

Reports to the Unit Head, Nurse Manager, Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing.
