Job Summary

We are seeking a Security Compliance & Sales Enablement Specialist to serve as the vital link between our Security, Sales, and Client teams. In this role, you will help strengthen client trust by managing security documentation, responding to security questionnaires, and supporting RFP/RFI processes. You'll translate complex information security concepts into clear, business-friendly language that empowers our sales efforts and reinforces our security credibility.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a remote, fast-paced SaaS environment, has strong technical understanding, and excels at cross-functional communication and process optimization.

About the Role

As a Security Compliance & Sales Enablement Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the company's customer trust initiatives by maintaining security and compliance documentation, managing customer due diligence processes, and supporting sales enablement. You'll collaborate closely with teams across Sales, Legal, Product, and Engineering to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely delivery of security-related materials that demonstrate our commitment to data protection and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage customer security questionnaires (e.g., SIG, CAIQ, VSA, or custom formats).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Legal, Product, and Engineering) to gather, verify, and maintain accurate information.
  • Maintain and update a central repository of security and compliance documentation, including policies, certifications, and audit reports.
  • Support RFP and RFI processes by providing detailed responses on security, compliance, and data protection.
  • Serve as the primary contact for explaining the company's security posture, certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR), and risk management practices to clients and prospects.
  • Develop standardized templates, processes, and FAQs to streamline recurring documentation requests.
  • Participate in customer due diligence reviews, addressing security-related questions with clarity and confidence.
  • Track recurring client concerns or trends and provide insights to improve internal processes and external messaging.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 2–5 years of experience in Security, Compliance, Risk Management, or Technical Pre-Sales roles (preferably within SaaS or B2B environments).
  • Proven experience in managing security questionnaires, RFPs, and compliance documentation.
  • Solid understanding of security frameworks and standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts in a clear, customer-friendly way.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in startup or remote-first environments.
  • Background in Sales Enablement or Customer Trust is highly desirable.
