About the role

This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and the integrity of our financial reporting.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct regular audits of the company's financial and operational processes to identify potential risks and improvements
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for enhancement
  • Assist in the development and implementation of audit plans, policies, and procedures
  • Liaise with various departments to gather information, document findings, and present recommendations
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management
  • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and follow up on audit recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices

What we're looking for

  • Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in internal audit or a similar role within the accounting/finance industry
  • Proficient knowledge of audit principles, procedures, and techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address financial and operational risks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing financial reporting and internal controls
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification would be an advantage
