Chateau Bleu Resort is an European-inspired country house hotel and resort located in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines. Amidst a tropical landscape with a picturesque view of Mt. Makiling , Chateau Bleu Resort is a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Metro Manila.

The resort with 22 well appointed rooms and cabanas, Conference and Seminar facilities, offers a variety of amenities including indoor and outdoor pools, hot spring jacuzzi, a lush garden, and teambuilding facilities.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team. The right candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, creating menus, ensuring food quality and safety standard, and guiding the kitchen staff to deliver excellent result.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Direct and supervise all kitchen operations and daily culinary activities

Design and develop innovative, cost-effective menus that meet quality standards

Oversee the ordering, receiving, stock levels, and food purchases.

Ensure strict compliance with food safety standards and kitchen cleanliness protocols

(FSC)

Monitor food costs and implement strategies to maintain profitability

Establish and maintain kitchen workflows, production systems, and SOPs

Guarantee consistency and quality in all menu items

Deliver exceptional culinary experiences that exceed customer expectations

Drive revenue growth and profitability through menu development, process

optimization, and customer engagement

Oversee the growth and training of kitchen employees.

Schedule staff shifts and manages team performance

Provide regular coaching and foster a positive work culture

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years' experience specializing in international cuisine

Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Technology, Food and Beverage Services

Management, or related field

Strong creativity with a keen eye for details

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Solid knowledge of restaurant operations and familiarity with Profit and Loss (P and L)

management

Willing to be assigned in Calamba, Laguna
