Job Summary

The Assembler is responsible for putting together components and parts to build finished products in accordance with technical drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and manual dexterity to ensure that all assembled items meet company specifications. The Assembler also contributes to efficient production by maintaining tools, reporting defects, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Assembly Operations

  • Assemble components, parts, or products according to blueprints, schematics, or instructions.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
  • Inspect assembled products for defects, errors, or quality issues.
  • Perform rework or adjustments to meet required specifications.

Quality & Safety

  • Follow quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Report defective materials, tools, or equipment to supervisors.
  • Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Collaboration & Support

  • Coordinate with production teams to meet daily and monthly output targets.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of parts and materials used in assembly.
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Provide support in training new assembly staff as required.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training is an advantage.
  • Experience as an Assembler or in a similar manufacturing/production role preferred.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and assembly guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods or handle repetitive tasks.
