About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Aircon Technician (HVAC TECHNICIAN). This is a full-time position responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' air conditioning equipment and providing high-quality customer service.

What you'll be doing

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair various types of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks and services on air conditioning units
  • Install new air conditioning systems according to design specifications
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide timely solutions
  • Maintain detailed records of all work carried out
  • Ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with industry regulations
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians as required

What we're looking for

  • Relevant technical certification or diploma in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities
  • Working knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, components and tools
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards
