Job description:

Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service by accurately processing transactions, handling payments, and issuing receipts in a timely and courteous manner. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Cash & Payment Handling

• Process transactions accurately using POS systems, handling cash, credit cards, and room charges responsibly.
• Balance cash drawer and sales at the end of each shift in accordance with hotel procedures.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow all safety and hygiene regulations, including local laws and hotel policies regarding alcohol service.
• Ensure guests are of legal drinking maturity and monitor alcohol consumption to prevent over-service.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or guest concerns to management immediately. VI. Inventory & Stock Control
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to the Bar Supervisor or F&B Manager.
• Reduce waste and breakage by handling beverages and glassware with care.
• Participate in monthly or weekly inventory counts as required.

Guest Service

• Greet guests warmly and establish rapport to create a welcoming and engaging bar environment.
• Take beverage and food orders accurately and promptly.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide recommendations based on preferences and menu knowledge.
