Hotel Receptionist

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Handling guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
• Answering inquiries and providing information about the hotel's facilities and services
• Assisting guests with booking accommodations, transportation, and other requests
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to guest stays
• Handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment-related tasks
• Providing concierge-style services, such as making restaurant reservations or arranging for local activities
• Ensuring the front desk area is well-organised and presentable at all times

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle a variety of situations
• Proficient in using hotel management software and other relevant technology
• Fluent in both English and the local language
• Flexible and adaptable to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
