The Campus Ministry Office Staff serves as the secretary and social media & communications officer for the Campus Ministry. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the Campus Ministry Coordinator and Campus Minister in various administrative tasks and effectively communicating the ministry's initiatives and events through multiple platforms. The position requires a skilled communicator, an organized administrator, and a strong advocate for promoting the Rogationist Charism, the school's Catholic values, and spiritual growth among students, faculty, and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Campus Minister and Campus Ministry Coordinator in managing office activities, including scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and maintaining records.
- Manage and maintain the office's physical and digital filing systems, ensuring accurate and organized records of ministry-related documents.
- Prepare and distribute communication materials, memos, and announcements to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate logistical aspects of events, including venue reservations, equipment setup, and communication with guest speakers or presenters.
- Handle incoming calls and emails, responding promptly and professionally, or directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Manage content for the Campus Ministry Office Social Media Platforms.
- Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, to enhance the ministry's online presence.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and engage with the online community in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with the Campus Minister and Campus Ministry Coordinator to encourage student, faculty, and staff involvement in ministry activities and spiritual programs.
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism, maintaining trust and respect for all members of the school community.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, event participation, and volunteer hours for reporting and future planning purposes.
- Generate reports as needed for the Campus Minister and school administration.
Qualification Standards:
- Completion of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Religious Education or Values Education and/or Pastoral Communications.
- A Practicing Catholic, preferably with exposure to Parish Apostolate and Religious Organizations.
- The ability to play a musical instrument is a plus.
