Job Description

  • Prepare, review, and finalize OSP/FTTx network designs in compliance with Globe and industry standards.
  • Conduct and validate OSP surveys, ensuring accuracy of field data and route planning.
  • Develop detailed design drawings, BOM/BOQ, and work orders using AutoCAD, GIS tools, and mapping software.
  • Manage KMZ/KML files and mapping resources for network route analysis and design optimization.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to align designs with project timelines and requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance to design teams, resolving issues and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Monitor design progress, troubleshoot discrepancies, and propose improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes, engineering standards, and client specifications throughout the design process.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree graduate, preferably in ECE or a related engineering course.
  • Experience with Globe (priority), FTTx OSP survey and design.
  • Advanced knowledge of OSP design principles and standards.
  • Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD and GIS-based platforms.
  • Familiar with KMZ/KML files and mapping tools for route planning.
  • Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting design issues and optimizing network layouts.
  • Strong knowledge of BOM/BOQ and work order preparation.
