Foreign Language Instructor

About the role

WordUp Language Training Center is seeking experienced Foreign Language Instructors to join our team on a contract/reelance basis. As a Foreign Language Instructor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality language instruction to our diverse student population online.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and delivering engaging, interactive language courses to language learners of all levels
• Developing tailored lesson plans and course materials to meet the unique needs of each student
• Evaluating student progress and providing regular feedback to support their language development
• Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, performance and progress
• Providing exceptional customer service and support to our language learners

What we're looking for

• Fluency in one or more foreign languages, such as Japanese, French, German or Italian
• Relevant teaching or language instruction experience, ideally in a classroom or language school setting
• Reliable internet connection (wifi or LAN, not phone data)
• Backup internet
• Ownership of a personal computer (laptop/desktop) with a clear web cam (at least 720p) and a headset with noise-cancelling microphone
• A well-lit, quiet place to conduct online classes
• A passion for language education and a commitment to helping students achieve their goals
• Relevant teaching qualifications or certifications are highly desirable
