Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mid to Senior Android Developer. The position is based in Mandaluyong, with flexibility for partial work-from-home arrangements. The Android Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining quality Android applications. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting and resolving app issues, writing clean and efficient code, optimizing application performance, and staying up-to-date with the latest Android technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years experience for Mid level and 5 years up for Senior level.
  • Proficiency in Java and Kotlin, Android SDK, and Android Studio
  • Experience with mobile application architecture, UI/UX design principles, and responsive design
  • Skilled in debugging, troubleshooting, and software testing processes
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, third-party libraries, and tools like Git for version control
  • Ability to manage projects independently while collaborating effectively with teams
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
  • Previous experience in publishing apps on the Google Play Store is a bonus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
