RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains IT hardware and software capabilities and other network-related equipment
- Provide technical support to the end users including, troubleshooting, diagnosing, resolving, and documenting
- Resolves tickets representing staff-generated technical requests or problems and troubleshoots technical and process issues to maintain productivity
- Performs installation and configuration of hardware, applications, infrastructure components, devices, and peripherals
- Provides user access to required servers and systems according to the defined access levels (read-only, read/write, etc.)
- Works closely with Active Directory and assists in creating, removing, and deactivating NT Logins and attributes configuration
- Set up new user accounts and profiles and solve any issues related to their accounts
- Ensures that backup copies, backup media, supplies, and peripherals are secure and always available
- Identifying and solving problems that arise with computer network systems
- Monitor and maintain networks and computer systems functionality by testing computer components
- Implements security measures, policies and procedures
- Ensures that correct resolutions are discovered and involve appropriate parties in resolving problems when needed
- Proposes innovative solutions and constant generation of idea
- Monitor and update the data entry on the Peak Asset Management System
- Proficient in the use of online and remote-connecting software live online chat support tools
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science a related field
- 1-3 years experience in a technical support role
- Good understanding of computer systems, networks and applications
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Extensive experience working with operating systems, Windows is required
- Comfortable working in and assisting others through company help desk software, such as Zoho in addition to other remote access desktop programs
- The ability to communicate technical information in an accessible manner to non-technical employees
- Software maintenance and testing capability
- Basic knowledge of networking principles and operating systems
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution
- Dependable and flexible when necessary
- Experience with local network and wide area network
