RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains IT hardware and software capabilities and other network-related equipment
  • Provide technical support to the end users including, troubleshooting, diagnosing, resolving, and documenting
  • Resolves tickets representing staff-generated technical requests or problems and troubleshoots technical and process issues to maintain productivity
  • Performs installation and configuration of hardware, applications, infrastructure components, devices, and peripherals
  • Provides user access to required servers and systems according to the defined access levels (read-only, read/write, etc.)
  • Works closely with Active Directory and assists in creating, removing, and deactivating  NT Logins and attributes configuration
  • Set up new user accounts and profiles and solve any issues related to their accounts
  • Ensures that backup copies, backup media, supplies, and peripherals are secure and always available
  • Identifying and solving problems that arise with computer network systems
  • Monitor and maintain networks and computer systems functionality by testing computer components
  • Implements security measures, policies and procedures
  • Ensures that correct resolutions are discovered and involve appropriate parties in resolving problems when needed
  • Proposes innovative solutions and constant generation of idea
  • Monitor and update the data entry on the Peak Asset Management System
  • Proficient in the use of online and remote-connecting software live online chat support tools

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science a related field
  • 1-3 years experience in a technical support role
  • Good understanding of computer systems, networks and applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Extensive experience working with operating systems, Windows is required
  • Comfortable working in and assisting others through company help desk software, such as Zoho in addition to other remote access desktop programs
  • The ability to communicate technical information in an accessible manner to non-technical employees
  • Software maintenance and testing capability
  • Basic knowledge of networking principles and operating systems
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution
  • Dependable and flexible when necessary
  • Experience with local network and wide area network
