Job Summary:

The Store & Tool Keeper is responsible for the proper storage, safekeeping, issuance, and inventory management of aircraft parts, tools, and equipment. This role ensures compliance with industry standards, maintains accurate records, and coordinates with various departments to support efficient maintenance operations.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

A. Store

  • Properly stores, organizes, and safeguards materials, spare parts, and supplies.
  • Ensures raw materials are separated from the working area and that storage conditions are suitable.
  • Maintains stock levels of expendable and routable items, oils, and greases, monitoring their usage.
  • Preserves inventory items that have shelf-life limitations to prevent deterioration.
  • Checks received parts against purchase orders to confirm accuracy.
  • Ensures that received parts are undamaged before adding them to inventory.
  • Supplies approved parts for aircraft maintenance upon request.
  • Receives and processes unserviceable parts, reporting defective items to the Chief Storekeeper.
  • Maintains accurate records of stock levels, transactions, and storage conditions.
  • Keeps a daily log of temperature and humidity levels in the store.
  • Reports any irregularities in airworthiness certification to the Chief Storekeeper.
  • Analyzes stock trends to forecast inventory needs and prevent shortages.
  • Develops expertise in aircraft parts receiving inspection, suspected unapproved parts (SUP) identification, and electro-sensitive devices (ESD) handling.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of the storage area.
  • Adapts to workload changes, urgent tasks, and emergency situations as needed.

B. Tool

  • Maintains proper storage and organization of tools and equipment.
  • Ensures that tools are clean, secured, and in good working condition.
  • Maintains an updated master list of all tools and equipment in the tool room/workshop.
  • Issues tools and equipment as per established procedures, ensuring all transactions are properly logged.
  • Checks serviceability and calibration due dates before issuing tools.
  • Ensures that borrowed tools are returned in good condition and with proper tagging.
  • If a tool is damaged, requires a written report from the last user and coordinates with Maintenance Planning for repair or replacement.
  • Notifies Maintenance Planning about any unavailable or unserviceable tools needed for upcoming maintenance tasks.
  • Sends tools and equipment for calibration, repair, and testing as needed.
  • Ensures proper documentation, including operations manuals, service manuals, and parts catalogs, is received with newly acquired tools.
  • Maintains accurate records of tool issuance, serviceability status, and calibration schedules.
  • Reports any damaged or missing tools and assists in sourcing replacements.
  • Returns all loaned tools to Logistics after task completion.
  • Actively participates in sourcing tools by contacting suppliers or other operators when necessary.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of the tool room/workshop.
  • Ensures that all documents related to tool management are properly filled out and signed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php18,000.00 per month
