Job Summary:

The Midwife is responsible for providing maternal and child health services, including prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care, and assisting physicians in promoting safe motherhood and newborn health.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to mothers and infants.
  • Conduct health assessments and monitor fetal and maternal well-being.
  • Assist in normal deliveries and ensure a safe and clean birthing environment.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the physician.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Educate mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and family planning.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for patient referrals when needed.
  • Participate in community outreach and health education programs.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a recognized Midwifery program.
  • Licensed Midwife (PRC).
  • With or without experience (fresh graduates are welcome).
  • Knowledgeable in maternal and child healthcare practices.
  • Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
