The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing marketing and promotional strategies to strengthen the hospital's brand presence, attract patients, and enhance community engagement. The role involves managing digital and traditional marketing campaigns, organizing events, and supporting communication efforts that highlight the hospital's services, specialties, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans to promote hospital services, programs, and medical specialists.
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify opportunities for growth and community engagement.
  • Manage hospital social media pages, website content, and online presence to ensure accurate and updated information.
  • Prepare marketing materials such as brochures, posters, newsletters, and advertisements in coordination with internal departments.
  • Plan and organize hospital events, health fairs, outreach programs, and other promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with physicians, medical staff, and departments for marketing content and promotional features.
  • Collaborate with media outlets and partners for publicity, advertising, and public relations initiatives.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and prepare periodic reports.
  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance with hospital policies and ethical standards.
  • Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives when required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a hospital, healthcare, or service industry setting.
  • Knowledge of healthcare marketing strategies, branding, and patient engagement is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media management, and basic graphic design (e.g., Canva, Adobe tools).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
