DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Application Development

a. Design, develop, and maintain complex fintech/cloud applications (e.g., secure payment platforms, cloud-based dashboards) using languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.

b. Lead the implementation of medium to large features, ensuring efficient performance and scalability.

c. Write clean, optimized, and reusable code adhering to coding standards and best practices

  • Requirement Analysis & Solution Design

a. Collaborate with Tech Leads, Product Managers, and stakeholders to analyze and define technical requirements.

b. Design robust application architectures, user interfaces, and database structures, integrating with existing systems.

c. Perform comprehensive unit testing and document system architecture for maintainability and scalability.

  • Application Stability, Security, and Performance

a. Ensure application stability, targeting 99.9% uptime, by proactively identifying and resolving critical issues.

b. Implement advanced security measures to protect sensitive data (e.g., payment transactions) and mitigate vulnerabilities.

c. Conduct performance optimization and load testing to enhance system efficiency and scalability.

  • Mentorship and Collaboration

a. Mentor Associate Software Engineers and Software Engineers, providing guidance on coding and debugging practices.

b. Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., QA, UI/UX, PM) to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

c. Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, leading technical discussions.

  • Customer Engagement & Support

a. Provide advanced troubleshooting, debugging, and support for software applications, resolving issues within 12 hours.

b. Document technical solutions and share knowledge with internal teams and customers.

c. Maintain a customer satisfaction rate of 95% without escalations.

  • Continuous Improvement

a. Stay updated on cutting-edge industry trends, tools, and technologies (e.g., Java Spring, AWS, Kubernetes).

b. Propose innovative solutions to improve application performance and development processes.

c. Complete at least one professional development course or certification annually and lead one TechTalk per year.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent).
  • Advanced proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring, Hibernate).
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • 4–6 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in fintech or cloud environments.
  • Experience leading small development projects or mentoring junior engineers is a plus.
  • Knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), APIs (e.g., REST, GraphQL), and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php80, Php110,000.00 per month
