Rieckermann Philippines is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Buyers with experience in Industrial Projects. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in managing both brownfield and greenfield construction of industrial plants, particularly within sectors such as chemicals, food processing, or industrial manufacturing.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for the sourcing of Contractors and Equipment Packages for EPCm Projects
  • Take the lead in project procurement activities by collaborating closely with clients, suppliers, and contractors
  • Identify potential contractors/suppliers through pre-qualification processes, conduct supplier evaluations, manage tendering/requisition activities, and negotiate contracts and pricing terms
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Perform tactical sourcing activities
  • Connects, collaborate and get aligned with subcategory teams to ensure effective execution and implementation of category strategies through buying activities, while ensuring compliance with the Buying policy
  • Perform data analysis, prepare consolidated reports of buying activities and provide timely feedback to Leads with respect to issues, areas of opportunities identified, corrective actions

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor Degree, or equivalent qualification, in Engineering, Economics, QS or related subjects
  • Project procurement experience (min. 5 years) in Industrial Factory projects
  • Understanding of procurement and project management systems and practices.
  • Experience in contract negotiations and possess a good understanding of contract forms
  • Experience in procurement management systems such as Ariba, maximo or Oracle.
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties as required by the management team from time to time in order to maintain flexibility in the organization
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
  • Fluent in English; highly organized and self-driven.
  • Willing to be based full-time on-site in Zamboanga City.
