Job Description

Key Functions

  • Handle stock control by receiving, releasing, and dispatching inventory while keeping records accurate and up to date.
  • Enter and maintain inventory data, delivery receipts, and order documentation in company records.
  • Oversee warehouse personnel by assigning schedules and providing instruction on proper material handling equipment usage.
  • Coordinate daily operations with warehouse and shipping teams, promptly addressing any issues or discrepancies.
  • Manage purchasing requirements by identifying suppliers, maintaining ideal stock levels, and arranging special or urgent orders.
  • Evaluate excess, damaged, or returned items and facilitate appropriate salvage or disposal processes based on company policies.
