MOTION GRAPHICS DESIGNER

SHIFT: DAY / MORNING PHT

TYPE: FULL TIME; INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR

Role Purpose

Create original illustrations, icons and motion graphics that simplify complex ideas and elevate learning content across formats.

Responsibilities

  • Translate briefs and scripts into style frames and storyboards.
  • Produce vector illustrations, iconography and layouts aligned to brand guidelines.
  • Animate sequences in After Effects (and/or Lottie/Rive); package exports for editors and developers.
  • Ensure visuals meet accessibility standards (contrast, typography, motion sensitivity) and are localisation‑ready.
  • Collaborate closely with LX Designers, Editors and Producers to align on narrative and usage.
  • Maintain clean files, version control and licence records; build reusable libraries and templates.
  • Continuously refine craft and adopt efficient workflows and automation where appropriate.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience in illustration and 2D motion with a strong folio.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, After Effects and Photoshop; typography and layout fundamentals.
  • Understanding of animation principles (keyframing, easing, graph editor, timing).
  • Experience preparing assets for motion/export (Bodymovin/Lottie, Rive) is advantageous.
  • Collaborative, organised and detail‑oriented; comfortable working to deadlines across time zones.
  • Familiarity with Canva, and governed AI image/video tools is a plus.
  • Design qualifications helpful; equivalent experience considered.

Home Office Requirements:

  • Internet Connection : Minimum of 25mbps speed for main and back up internet connections
  • Computer/Laptop: The contractor must have a good working computer/laptop with Dual Monitors
  • Headsets : The Contractor must have noise cancelling headsets preferably Plantronics Blackwire C320M headsets. Assessment will be done during test calls.
  • Dedicated Home Office - Contractors are required to have a dedicated home office free from noise and distractions.
  • Webcam - for meeting purposes
  • Must be comfortable in working with Time Doctor/Screenshot Monitor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php55,000.00 per month
