Phlebotomist (Makati)

Qualification:

• Candidate must be graduate of BS Medical Laboratory Science, BS Medical Technology, BS Nursing, or Medical Allied course - equivalent
• Underboard passers are welcome to apply
• At least (1) year experience in the related field is preferred but not required for this position
• Must be willing to work in shifting schedule
• Full time position/s available - Makati

Job Description:

• Verifying patient identification against request and confirming with the patient whenever possible.
• Obtains blood specimens by performing venipuncture and fingerstick
• Recording collection of blood sample in patient record in accordance with standard procedure.
• Release results to in accordance to result dispatch procedure and adhere to patient confidentiality.
• Sorting and filing of patient records and/or requests forms.
• Ensures adherence to protocols at all times.
• Escalates to Nurse Supervisor or to other appropriate personnel for concerns not covered by existing protocols.
• Monitor supplies and stock level in clinic.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
