Best Tools is currently hiring a Technician for our Compostela City branch.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and skilled technician to handle the maintenance, repair, and preventive servicing of industrial tools, machinery, and related equipment. This role is vital in ensuring seamless store operations, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair industrial tools, power equipment, and machinery.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and prolong equipment lifespan.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system issues efficiently.
  • Read and apply instructions from technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate maintenance and service records.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members and assist customers with technical inquiries.
  • Repair electric and cordless power tools.
  • Service air compressors and water pumps.
  • Maintain engines, generators, inverters, and welding machines.
  • Conduct preventive repairs and upkeep.
  • Prepare detailed assessment and repair reports.
  • Prior experience in a service center environment is an advantage.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or GED (technical or vocational training preferred).
  • 6 months to 1 year of relevant technical experience.
  • Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Knowledgeable about hand tools, power tools, pneumatic systems, and industrial equipment.
  • Physically capable of lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work well in a team.

Additional Requirement:

Willingness to attend technical training in Metro Manila.
