Scheduler / Planner

A.      Preparation and Monitoring of Construction Schedules

1.)    Prepares the general or master construction schedule indicating the major milestones of the project;

2.)    Prepares the detailed construction schedules to be used for resource management, progress evaluation, and cost monitoring;

3.)    Monitors actual construction progress against the target schedule and prepares updates if necessary;

4.)    Prepares schedule analysis for planning purposes;

B.      Review of Technical Documents

5.)    Checks, reviews, and signs outgoing documents such as cost proposals for Variation Orders, Subcontractor's Certificate for Payments, and evaluation of Subcontractor's Proposal;

6.)    Performs take-off quantities and activities from construction drawings or other documents for creation of schedule;

7.)    Populates schedule with resource and cost information;

C.      Monitoring of Billing

8.)    Prepares billing attachments to the owner as needed;

9.)    Monitors evaluation and payments submitted, variation orders, and progress billing;

D.      Report Accomplishment

10.) Prepares weekly Accomplishment Reports to the owner;

11.) Prepares various monthly reports to the main office, not limited to accounting requirements, man-hour report, contract status, billing and collection status, and revenue projection;

Reviews and evaluates performance reports like cost reports and audit reports;

Updates, maintains, and revises monthly and weekly schedules and reports;

Compares and reports changes, delays, and acceleration in the monthly schedule;

Analyzes monthly schedules and prepares reports for dispute resolution issues;

E.      Materials Requirements

Validates plans and specifications to alert for the purchase of needed materials with the ongoing activity;

F.      Document Management

Reviews of incoming documents from owners (letters, Plans & other transmittals) and Subcontractors (Billings & Cost Proposals) for proper dissemination to the concerned Office Engineer;

G.      Safety

Compliance with Project Safety Programs;

H.      Others

Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time;
