Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and alphalist using schedules provided by GL and AP accountants for review and approval of Tax Head and/or Controller.
  • Responsible for the reconciliation of tax returns vs accounting records and coordinate discrepancies noted with financial accountants.
  • Handles annual submission of computerized books of accounts and other accounting records to the BIR.
  • Handles annual renewal of business permit and gross receipts declaration for purposes of Local Business Tax (LBT) payment.
  • Complete the necessary documentation and reconciliation in a timely and accurate manner to aid in the closure of BIR tax audits

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant
  • Minimum of 3 yrs related experience
  • Proficient in accounting systems preferably SAP and Netsuite
  • Extensive knowledge on taxes and statutory reporting requirements
