Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Production Machine Operator/Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role involves machine operation, die and mold maintenance, parts fabrication, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in a manufacturing or technical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor production machines, including start-up, shutdown, and routine adjustments.
  • Perform in-process inspections to ensure product quality in terms of appearance and dimensions.
  • Set up dies and molds for production and perform changeovers as required.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and minor repairs on machines, dies, and production equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to dies, molds, machines, and accessories.
  • Fabricate and finish basic die parts using grinding or EDM machines (as assigned).
  • Handle withdrawal and preparation of materials needed for production.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and labeling of production records and reports.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area in line with 5S practices.
  • Stop the machine/production line if abnormalities or safety issues are found and escalate as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Follow safety protocols and company standards at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Vocational or technical training in Mechatronics, Mechanical Technology, or related field (TESDA certification is a plus).
  • Hands-on experience in die maintenance, machine operation, or parts fabrication is preferred.
  • Experience in profile grinding and surface grinding is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical/mechanical drawings.
  • Basic mathematical and measurement skills for quality checks.
  • Physically fit and willing to work in a fast-paced, production environment.
  • Willing to work in shifts, if required.
